Sorry for the interuption, but i'm trying to get this out there for people to know the truth, no matter how crazy you think it is. Accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, that He died for you and all of our sins, acknowledge that you are a sinner and that you need Him, repent and ask forgiveness, and believe and have faith that He is real. For Jesus is the only way to heaven! Now once you accept Him, you will receive the Holy Spirit, now while you are alive, read your bible, follow God, and live for Him.

Yeah, same here. Been obsessed with the early to mid 1900s for a while now, and Alastor's voice just topped it. Here is a makeshift step by step way on getting it somewhat decently close. Step 1: Learn a Mid-Atlantic accent. That is what a lot of 1900s people soud like, and many were required to learn it for their jobs, like radio announcer and commercial advertiser. Step 2: Do this. Step 3: Enjoy. :)

Seconding Francesca Sannazzaro in saying I think Audacity now labels the EQ-effect shown in the first half of this, "Filter Curve". Also the iZotope Vinyl plugin apparently no longer supports Audacity :( I guess that's why there's no longer a link to it in the notes here but instead there's a link to Russell's own preset installation files which cost £5 and which I haven't tried yet because I'm crazy-broke. Hopefully this saves someone the hour or two it took me to work all that out!

Love it when Audacity crashed during the demo! PS: I only use Audacity when I have to as it uses DESTRUCTIVE editing - I found that out the hard way by destroying a voice-over that we didn't have time to re-record!

In that situation you’d need to look back for the last version that’s 32 bit and disable updates.
