That doesnt work anymore, if you open a loot bag then it changes so that you cant use it to craft the better ones, notice how beef had two common bags but with different descriptions, thats because one of them was opened before.

I started this mod pack at the same time as the guys (I also have a lot more time to play than they do-not turning this into a competition), and I use an Endergenic Generator with Item Conduit and Basic Item Filters. How does the M.E. system work? I am really loving automating things and really getting into the intricacies of these systems. It's invigorating!

This series is great! I've been playing right along with you guys and found a few pointers (who doesn't have those, amiright?). The growth accelerator is actually the Growth Pulser. I can imagine it's hard to remember all the names for things, especially when you haven't played in a while. I believe Item Conduit is better than a transfer node and transfer pipes, and I think it's cheaper in materials, or at least just as easy on the 'wallet'. They are programmable with a wrench (made with 2 lapis and a piece of iron in a diagonal) and you can even filter the items you want through them via a Basic Item Filter and a whitelist or blacklist. I've automated my entire storage, cobble generation> storage/hammer> sieve>sand> hammer> sieve> dust> sieve process, plus have the items go from there to the storage automatically using Item Conduits and an Endergenic Generator. You can even automate your lava generation with a chest with cobble above the crucible (fed from the cobble generator chest using item conduit) which goes into a fluid conduit fed into a tank which feeds 6 stone barrels covered with water to create obsidian, which is then taken with an item conduit to the storage system. ANYWAYS, sorry for writing a book and thanks a loooot for getting me so addicted to this mod pack! (Seriously, though, this mod pack is brilliant).

Oh! And you should set up the XP 'grabber' (right now you have an item 'grabber' active on one side to filter items through it, the xp one filters xp through it as the mobs in this mod drop xp whether or not you actively kill them) on the vacuum hopper and hook a tank to that for the mobs that die. :D

Beef... Right click the magical crops to harvest and they wont totally reset their growth. They will grow much quicker and you wont have to worry about replanting.

I set up my mob spawner right away, and am now looking to automate the killing process. I already have everything that I kill go into a vacuum hopper, into a chest on one side hooked to my storage with Item Conduit, and the other side has an experience tank, Do I use the Slice'N'Dice now, or is there an actual Grinder?

Beef! Use the open blocks tanks (the big blocky clear ones) for XP instead of lava! Make an XP drain and put it on top of the tank! Then you can just right click the tank (with an empty hand, I think) to get XP back!

Beef, look into Steve's Factory Manager. It is a cheap inventory control manager. You can move, sort, craft, etc. will save you a lot of running around. it will connect to any block that has an inventory.

nono. LOOK AT TRAVEL ANCHORS. Seriously, they are cheap to build and allow instantaneous teleportation without the need of power. You can jump anchor to anchor or use the wand of transportation I saw in your chest to jump to an anchor from anywhere.

Actually yes I do. I play this same modpack and it speeds up the job massively. Its especially useful for getting up and down things like really tall mob systems very quickly. I even have an anchor setup at bedrock level to quickly retrieve any unfortunate falling accident gravestones.

Beef, check out the Minicio Hoe- it doubles the output (I think) of Minicio seeds/essence, so you can plant more quicker. I think it only works on the Minicio plants but it's still a good way to farm that. Also, look into the Ender IO farming station if you'd want to automate farming, I think it can cover a 7x7 plot as long as it's powered and can export to a chest/storage system.

Now that youve started a minicio farm you need to start growing ores and elements on the side. Surround a diamond or emerald with minicio then see what ores you can make. you will probably be surprised

Please, PLEASE tell me that I'm not the ONLY one noticing that mobs are dropping OUTSIDE of the ringed-in area. That's why you guys are getting occasionally attacked. Mob (I think a regular zombie) plummeting to doom outside of the containment area visible at very close to 19:00 mark.

It's just really hard to begin, with a _ better _ mob farm they would get enought Minicio essence to make Minicio seed, then the better way stay the planter and harverster i think. But since it's slow you need to make some kind of bonemeal who can work on them (like the lamp growth or i don't really know what could work to speed it) or a really huge farm xD
