Mehdi Hassan - All Time Best Ghazals is a mesmerizing collection of Urdu Ghazals. Ghazal is known as an art-form in itself. In the words of Mallika-e-Ghazal Begum Akhtar - "Gazal sahii Dhang se gaaii jaaye to us kaa nashaa sar cha.Dh ke bolataa hai". Mehdi Hassan never had a formal education. His education was particularly in the field of classical music that he had been studying since the age of eight. He was born in a village called "Luna" in Rajasthan in the year 1927. Mehdi Hassan was trained by his father Ustad Azeem Khan and uncle Ustad Ismail Khan. He belong from the family that produce musicians or artistes for the kings, with an lineage post of "Darbari Ustads" who were seasoned performers in the courts of several Maharajahs of Indore, Patna, Chhatarpur and Mysore.
Mehdi Hassan was known as the Sultan or Shahensha-E-Ghazal. Due to this, a listener can relive and cherish their special moments over and over again with the album “Mohabbat Karne Wale - Unforgettable Mehdi Hassan”. It contains such melodies or the ghazals such as “Rafta Rafta”, “Ranjish Hi Sahi” and so on.
