Never heard this one until today, October 25, 2024, and I thank you for the pleasure. I saw the sheet music for sale and was intrigued by the title. I heard a faint strain of "Memphis in June" in this song's melody.

George Harrison recorded it in 1981, the same year Hoagy Carmichael died. He died December 27th, so who knows weather he heard Harrison's version that year.

@@phonoplane George's version was recorded in 1980 and was to be first released on the original version of "Somewhere In England" in the fall of that year. So maybe Hoagy got to hear it after all.
