My very first vintage lens was a Minolta MD Rokkor 50mm f1.4. It taught me how to use & appreciate manual, vintage, time-tested lenses & since then, grew in my passion for vintage lenses in tandem w/ my old Sony a6000. Had to let go of it then due to fungus. But after a while, I felt the regret of losing it, esp after learning how to clean & maintain vintage lenses! I still long to own a set of vintage Minolta lenses. They're sharp, unique in color rendition, amazing bokeh & nice skin tones for portraits. God bless vintageoptiks! More power to you not just in creating & sharing these fantastic content, but also by being an encouragement to a community of vintage lens lovers. 😊

Going back into your older reviews. All entertaining. Minolta is the sleeper vintage lens. What I am getting with a 30 dollar Minolta Celtic 135mm 2.8 is extraordinary.

Thank you! Glad you enjoy the reviews. Minolta is definitely not as popular amongst the vintage lens world. But I’m afraid that many people already know how good their optics are and prices for their lenses are definitely going up. I have a complete set of Rokkor lenses from 16mm fisheye to 300mm and I love them all.
