In 1981 A cover Version of Question Mark & the Mysterians hit song 96 Tears was covered by new wave rocker Garland Jefferys it got popular on Canadian FM rock radio which I heard 96 Tears for the first time then disappeared and only heard the original 60's Question Mark version to this day.

WTF is going on in your segment about The Chiffons? Although the photos that you showed of the quartet where actually that group, you threw in two photos of trios, first The Cookies, and second The Ronettes, for no apparent reason. Or is it that any random black girl group looks identical to The Chiffons to you? The things you said about them also made little sense. Their first single was not Tonight's The Night, it is He's So Fine. Tonight's The Night is a single by a different quartet, The Shirelles ( and not even THIER first single either.) Then you say "the first single after she joined the group" without naming who you mean. I guess we have to assume you mean Sylvia Peterson since she was the last group member to join, but The Chiffons never recorded anything BEFORE she joined, so as far as 1960s record releases are concerned, The Chiffons were always a quartet. (Judy Craig, Barbara Lee, Patricia Bennett, and Sylvia Peterson.) Another strange thing you say about thier first single, He's So Fine, is that it was #1, on the R&B chart.. which it was.. but it was ALSO #1 on the Billboard pop chart! It was the #1 song the week of March 30th 1963, and STAYED at #1 for four weeks! Isn't that just a bit more notable?

You literally have no clue about any of these bands. It’s Beau Brummels, not the Bob Brummels. You showed a picture of Deep Purple during Country Joe & The Fish. You showed a picture of The Left Banke during The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band. And the worst blunder was showing all pics of the UK band The Charltans instead of the US 60’s band. I couldn’t watch anymore. Proves you don’t know anything about this music nor are you an actual fan.

Some of these bands were taken advantage of by their managers.

Thank you Joy...so glad you mentioned it...our band was one of them. The Royal Guardsmen. The Snoopy records sold millions and Snoopy's Christmas is still being played and sold for over 50 years now. Here's the URL from the MIke Douglas Show. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5Cyd4xppt98m9U Yes'um, we were exploited like so many other bands in the 60's. Crooked producer and greedy label. God bless ya.

@@barrywinslow9798 My mom made a record back in the 1950's, she was an opera singer. They actually played it on the radio. I heard it when I was a kid when I lived in Norfolk Virginia. She didn't get any money from it. She was married and was busy having children. Fats Domino was a friend of the family but even he probably was being taken advantage of by his managers. Not so glamorous a living. I enjoyed your music records. Thanks again for the link. I will subscribe.

You’re showing the British pop psychedelic band kaleidoscope while you’re talking about the San Francisco hippie collective. This is what happens when AI writes the script… Or more or less takes it from Wikipedia and grabs photos of the Internet. Lame
