What a lovely presentation of a truly great marque. Difficult for Hudson owners to explain in words the absolute passion these iconic creations engender. That '47 convertible has an aura about it that can and will never be surpassed.

Beautiful works of art. If only modern cars could be half of what these cars are.

There used to be an old Hudson dealer on Rt. 140 in Bellingham, Massachusetts.... owned by a man named, "Moore".

In the little Maine town I grew up in an older gentleman had a green pick-up back in the '70s and before I can remember. It was nice. Surely someone still has it.

I'm 17 and I want one! They'd be cool cruisers! But I like off the wall cars, sure I love the big 3, Chrylser mainly, but I like AMC's muscle cars as well. I also enjoy the story of Auburn and Duesenberg, Tucker has an amazing history too, heck even SAAB's 2 strokes strike a nerve in me! But I guess I'll forever be rooting for the little guy! I like cars that very few people know about in America and nearly no one in my generation! I would enjoy having to tell everyone what my car is!

HA! when do you ever see an old Hudson spin em off the line? awesome.

The gold convertible looks very familiar. Is this the one that was known as the golden Hudson that was damaged by fire at one point? If so, it used to live here, in Utah.

The '46 super six sedan I owned was painted Nepal Ivory at the factory. A little old lady car.

I've never been a fan of today's cars, with all the electronic stuff. I've always preferred cars built between 1940 and 1980. I like old-school cars.

So, in '41, the Hudson Super Six was, essentially, a limousine? A 'formal sedan', like the Cadillac 75?
@dlwatib7 жыл бұрын
Definitely not. Why did you think so?

they sold quit a few 55 Nash bodied Hudsons over 50,000 if I remember corectly. 1956 and 57 sales were bad.
@8176morgan6 жыл бұрын
Actually, a lot of those cars were really Nash cars but with a Hudson name plate on it, about half of them in fact; and even more so in '56.
