I had a nightmare with this a couple months ago. Took me about 11 attempts i think. The doc that worked for me was a pdf screenshot of the About You page in my HMRC profile. It has to have a date within 3 months, which if you save that screen as a pdf it should show today's date in top corner

I had this just before Christmas, took 5 attempts to get verified. In the end they accepted my tax return and driving licence, that was once I had changed my business name to be the same as my full name as it appears on other documents. The main problem with Vinted is not being able to speak to anyone directly, it’s all send messages and wait for a reply. Usually not for 24 hrs at least 🙄 hope you sort it soon x

Hey mate, I had this for 4 weeks around November haha! You need to do self assessment tax return. You then may get the reply - the details provided don’t match the registered doc. That’s because you need to change your details on your Vinted account. IE name on address, first name to match tax doc. Hope this helps

Ive had to stop using vinted as i cant do the verification. Only have an out of date provisional as never finished driving lessons years ago. No passport as ive never been abroad either so ebay only now. Stupid way of doing things, there are many different ways to prove your identity but they love to be awkward

After £1000 they make you do this. I didn't have my photo ID so I clicked on the option to say I had no photo ID and it said temporarily change your name to a family members eg mum or dad and use theirs then change it back. I think they assumed i was under 18. But still I was shocked that they told me how to get around it.

@ I put on my recent statement to show how much I earn, gross total of what I spent on anything I sold, and then my filings to prove I do pay the right amount of tax. I think they do it to stop tax evasion. Mine got approved straight away, and then 5 mins later got a message saying my account has been verified.

@ crazy isn’t it , like you say should be part of the process when you either sign up or change over… sounds similar to online casinos all easily take ya money off you but soon as you’re cashing out they want your life’s financials which they didn’t care about whilst they were taking the money off you ( and to some people their entire bank balance) I happily would sign up and get all the verification processes out the way before listing an item but I suppose that would then discourage people from joining in the first place , hope they pull their finger out for you mate

Vinted is very confusing. I still don’t understand why “Pro” sellers have to wait 14 days for funds to be released while standard users only have to wait 48 hours. Surely it should be the other way around? It’s very difficult for me as a sole trader to wait 2 weeks for payouts. I’ve just transitioned to Vinted Pro and would have never expected it to take that long. Love the videos as always Ricky, started this journey in September and I couldn’t have don’t it without you!

It can be worse than 14 days because l had an event where the courier service were late on delivery then the customer left in the shop 4 days before collecting and on then did it notify me that the item was delivered, it added a further 8 days to the 14 before l got a payout.

I had to try three times to get money from vinted. Every driving licence upload was met with picture quality not good enough. My withfrawal was only for £240. Absolutely ridiculous. Especially when its being paid into a bank account of the same said name.

You've only had the start of it. Will probably take about 10-15 attempts and they take 24 hours to get back to you on whether or not you're verification is successful. if they say it's unsuccessful, you'll have to try again and wait another 24 hours for the result. Took me nearly two weeks
