Wheels are period correct, they are the right color for the car. I like them. I would look into some custom ones just for tire options. Enjoy it!!!!
@damstachizzАй бұрын
The wheels are ugly as hell, but that's what the car came with so that's what they need to be when selling it. For driving around, much more subtle black with red highlight wheels would look great, and 5x130 isn't such a crazy stud pattern that custom wheels will be stupid expensive, even going HREs wouldn't be too bad. As for tyres, ed should double check with other veyron guys but going down from the custom 365/25R21 to 345/25R21 is only a 1.4% diameter difference which the stability control system shouldn't really care about, and that gets him on a size that actually exists. The worry at that point becomes load rating. Even the 355/25R21 PZero/Pilot sport 4 are only 107 rated, while the veyron is 108. In the real world, that means nothing. In a crash when the insurance company is staring at a $1.5m bill, that suddenly means everything.
@NA-rp9ktАй бұрын
So, to own the car will cost $626,325 in down payment/initial payments, plus $854,000 financed, plus $725,000 as a purchase option. That totals over $2.2 million, not including what could be a few hundred thousand in repairs/maintenance.

It’s ridiculous that there are ways to get tax benefits purchasing a vehicle like this, regardless of whether it’s for a small business or otherwise. We really need tax reform in this country to stop this insanity where those in the know and with the means game the system. Nothing against you Ed, you didn’t make the rules.

@@-Jason-L I understand. I am saying that I do not agree with this type of vehicle being a business expense and hence one of the reasons I would like to see the tax code rewritten. You should talk KZbin into sponsoring a cannonball run sort of deal.. a KZbin run lol. So many KZbinrs have been able to achieve getting their dream car lately and it'd be cool if all our favorite people got togeather with their KZbin dream car to do a run, Doug and the Carrera GT, you and the Veyron, Tavarish and p1, so on and so on lol I suppose I should say auto Tempest but be a good promo for KZbin itself a considering what it's done for us all, even those of us watching, seeing people we can almost relate to have their dream cars and what it's like to own them and use them, the most detailed car tours from Doug giving us a look all around at everything even how many cupholders lol, without you guys, all we'd have is the countach on our wall. It’s even better when there are 10 comments on a video that only has 2 views. So, he put 600K down, is paying a leas for 5 years at another 500K in lease payments. In the end, over 1.1 million plus taxes, repairs, and insurance and he does not own the car? How does that remotely make sense?

Playing the long game......with the $725,000 buyout at the end, he's in for almost 2.2 (without repairs). The car all sorted out is probably worth that today. Because of the rarity of this model, in 5 years he's betting the car to be worth in excess of probably 3 - 4 million.
