@@mm-vs1zt I'm referring to fit and finish primarily. I thought it drove and handled well, although I was a teenager and today I wouldn't trust my opinion regarding that particular detail based on my lack of driving experience at the time. Biggest thing to remember is there's "fast" and there's fast. Antique cars are "fast". Ground pounders of the old days were lucky to make 450hp, tires had a contact patch as wide as a credit card, and ran 14 sec 1/4 mile times if you were lucky.

If you haven't attended Amelia, you should. While it is insanely awesome in terms of the cars on display, and located on a gorgeous exclusive property, it is anything but full of itself. You are just as likely to find yourself standing next to Wayne Carini or Magnus Walker as you are to find yourself next to someone wearing shorts and a NASCAR shirt. It is very high on enthusiast and low on attitude. The spirit is amazing and I lways end up talking to random strangers throughout the event. The other events around the Sunday show are also amazing [especially the Werks Reunion]. For the price of $100 [which goes to charity] - essentially half [or less] of some other notable events, you cannot beat the experience. Moreoever the impression is that the unique vision of Bill Warner himself - clearly the ultimate gentleman enthusiast - defines the experience. Also, FLA in March is a treat!
