Ed Bolian Canadian checking in here, we don’t have titles in Canada, only bills of sales which are a part of your registration. If shipped outside of Canada all you’d need upon it’s return is a temp. Permit to allow you to drive it, get an Out of Province inspection, get insurance after giving a copy of that passed inspection, return to the registry’s, hand over proof of insurance and passing of the inspection, and they will issue you a proof of registration which on the back side of the paper will have a transfer of registration which is your bill of sale. Upon providing that to US customs at the border they will issue you a title
@ojoface2085 жыл бұрын
ed i think your lambo was in israel, one in 2012 was in "אוטומותו" or automoto with the exact color and wheels, i could help research it a bit beacause you said that people think the murc was imported to the middle east and there was only maybe 6 ever here and exactly 0 are still here
@Matt-uf2nc5 жыл бұрын
@@branttholland520 if it were that simple i think ed would have mentioned it in the video. it seems like the main problem is getting it back into canada with no paperwork, no cooperation of prior owners, without committing some kind of fraud, and simultaneously avoiding any potential claims of theft by the original canadian seller once it is returned.
@corf38515 жыл бұрын
Ed, another Canadian checking in here. Any vehicle originally imported to Canada, and registered in Canada, which is then exported (usually the US, but in this case China), can be re-imported without having to pay duty in Canada, essentially no questions asked. I believe that taxes (which varies depending on province) do still have to be paid. The car can then be exported to the US once registered in Canada. As Brantt already explained Canadian vehicles don’t really have separate “titles” the title is our registration (again, this may vary slightly by province). In the case of this Murci, it would probably be easiest for the existing owner to ship it to Canada himself, register it here and sell it here.
