Such a great practice! As a scholar of 19th C. American Poetry, I love it when you include a poem in your class. Here is another darkness poem by my favorite poet, Emily Dickinson: We grow accustomed to the Dark - When light is put away - As when the Neighbor holds the Lamp To witness her Goodbye - A Moment - We uncertain step For newness of the night - Then - fit our Vision to the Dark - And meet the Road - erect - And so of larger - Darkness - Those Evenings of the Brain - When not a Moon disclose a sign - Or Star - come out - within - The Bravest - grope a little - And sometimes hit a Tree Directly in the Forehead - But as they learn to see - Either the Darkness alters - Or something in the sight Adjusts itself to Midnight - And Life steps almost straight.

I have been exploring my breathe usage on and off the mat. Now going into the dark spaces with that, I am exploring without fear but instead with unconditional Love. ✨ Om Shanti. What an awesome practise, I shall be sure and do this again. Thank you. Namaste ✨

I love the Mandala style flow as well as Vinyasa and love the way you combine both and add your sageness and calmness. As always, I appreciate you making the impersonal world of the Internet feel like a community. Having been a fitness instructor for 30 years and now deciding to take all my own practices and workouts in the privacy of my own home, I am grateful for you sharing your gift here. Have a fabulous day!!

Haven’t practice with you in a while but I’m glad I did today. I’m 60 hours away from completing my yoga teacher training and I have to say that you are one of my biggest inspirations in my yoga practice. Thank you for everything you do! 💕✨

Wow, your timing is impeccable. Not sure why, maybe the alignment of the planets or I have no idea, but the darkness from my childhood traumas has been leaking in and I've been feeling more negative and angry at the world and those who commit such harm and cruelty. But I started to realize, that when I lived in that darkness, I used to be more understanding to darkness itself. It has only been within the last 5 years my light has absolutely illuminated with light, and here, although I have always dreamed to finally live a light filled, happy life, I found I became more judgmental and intolerant and frankly, scared of the darkness. But I've been finding, building a dam and holding it back is hurting me because as you said, there truly is beauty, strength, and purpose in darkness. And as long as we don't associate negativity to that darkness, we allow the darkness to teach us, show us and transform us. Thank you Michelle for this flow!....oh, my hips always need a working too and I'm thankful to dive into them too in this flow!. Namaste as always, Michelle!

My hips thank you. I did exactly what you described and injured myself a week ago doing something I knew I shouldn't have! This was the perfect practice to get me back on track. Thanks and namaste!

Thanks again for the good practice. I have one question. In many video's you talk about your legs hugging together when we are in warrior 1 or 2. or you said someting like keep your hips/legs together asymmetrical. What do you mean by that? maybe have tension on the groin muscles and thighs? thank you
