Vinyl Arm Rest Replacement on 2007 Honda CR V 3rd Gen

I showed how to replace the vinyl arm rest of 2007 Honda CR V. This is the same for models 2007 to 2011 Honda CRV. The replacement vinyl is not original and it is a little bit thicker but still good looking.

@@user-gd8kz9vw9q it went well. I installed the driver's side first. After the experience installing the driver's side, I modified my technique for the passenger side. I left the existing foam but for the passenger side, I removed the foam on the underside of the arm rest because leaving it on caused the replacement to be too thick and gave me difficulty in aligning the arm rest back to screw it down for the driver's side. So the passenger side installation was easier.

Could be better, i think. Maybe if you use a contact glue - a hot air gun right after gluing parts, I guesss you should have a better result. Thanks for sharing.

I was going to try the covers that you don't have to remove the door panel and just tuck in all the edges but seeing this video leaves me feeling a little skeptical about how the results will be. I think I'll just get this type and do it properly. Saying that I kind of wish you showed the full door panel removal.

Yes, you cannot take out the arm rest if you do not remove the handle.
