What do u do to seal the bottom of vinyl baseboard to floor? Why doesn't anyone do that? The product is obviously water proof, however if not sealed to floor how can It be waterproof? I have vinyl floor installed and want to ensure the vinyl baseboard to floor is sealed for any water

I tried that in my kitchen few years ago, but because of having floating floor & house shifting it Is pulling baseboards away from the walls! Now I’m redoing my kitchen! I don’t recommend sealing vinyl baseboards to floor!

Some manufacturers recommend a bead silicone if you’d like to stop water getting under the floor or wall

I need help lol these rubber baseboards in kitchen and bathroom only and their lifting on the bottom and bugs from the outside are able to sneak in here and there , can I caulk the bottom to seal it or what do emu recommend? I need the easiest and fastest way to seal it please I’m a on my own woman who cannot afford to hire someone so I need advice on how to please. Thank you so much

Thanks for the info! What is the best adhesive to use when the rubber base isn't resting on the floor? I'm going to install this in my garage and about half of the drywall rests right above the concrete floor while the other half of the drywall stops about one foot above the concrete floor. There is about one foot of vertical concrete stem wall where the bottom of the rubber baseboard isn't able to rest on the concrete floor. Every dealt with this before?

My vinyl base cove does not want to stick and to be honest, the part I try to stick it to is flaky, the base comes off with pieces of the wall, possibly just dry wall, If this is the case what should I do?

How many feet do you put up at a time? I thought it would be maybe six. My friend cut one 27’ piece for three bedroom walls. I don’t think it’s possible to make it work that way even with both or us working together.

Thank you for the information, Carpet Expert Blueprint. Would you please share your experience regarding using the wall adhesive Roberts 7200? Per instructions, the paint needs to be stripped from the wall. However, the videos I saw on KZbin show gluing directly over the painted wall. If I need to strip the paint, what is the most efficient way to do it? If I do not have time to strip the paint, would double tape work on the painted wall? Thank you.
