Thanks so much for getting this started again this year Rob. I got back to buying and playing vinyl records in 2017 after a 30 year hiatus, I've been watching & learning from the Vinyl Community since then. I finally started a channel in August of 2023 and just now posted my first Vinyl Tag video. I very much enjoyed thinking about answers to these questions.

Hey Rob - love the ‘24 Vinyl Tag. I turned loads of friends onto Ocean Colour Scene back in the 90s here in the States where they were unknown. Was able to catch them once her in Philly as well. Some good picks!

Good tag! When I was about 12, we had a lovely English family move in to our neighborhood. Their son, who was about my age, was a United fan. I didnt know anything about Premier League or English football, so Manchester United was my introduction to it. We would watch matches every so often.

Rob this was fun dude. I wasn't familiar with your channel but saw Alan Rosenberg joining in your vinyl tag and decided to check out your videos. I think this year I'll finally pull the trigger. I enjoyed that tour when I saw them in NYC. Hi Rob, firstly thanks for -clearing up where Oldham was- the shout out and appreciating my Album Cover Locations thread video (a Holy Grail of Prog Rock ; ), much appreciated n glad you enjoyed it. A few people has said they really enjoyed it so I guess that's what makes it all worthwhile. You know what, I don't think I actually have Rumours, I'll have to check!! (or any 90s for that matters) But New Musik were/are a fave band, very underrated. I've been keeping a look out for their three albums. That's the comp isn't it? Great cover to walk into but maybe too many phone wires! Love that Prefab album, chap in the market had it for sale but way over priced. Hi Bobby happy new year and thanks for watching. That teapot is a Christmas teapot . I bought it for my parents for Christmas in the mid 80s . They always brought it out and displayed it over the festive period. Sadly both of my parents are no longer with us , as you do when your parents pass, myself and my sisters shared some of the sentimental things and that teapot is something that as soon as I display it the memories come flooding back. it’s funny how objects can do it .. hope to catch up soon at Rachel’s cheers Bobby 👍

Yes Prefab Sprout. Loved it to death. Here in the States it was called Two Wheels Good. I think in 2022 they released an acoustic version of it.

In Germany, I'm organizing a similar challenge (German Vinyl Challenge) in 2024, just like last year, which will start after Vinyl Tag. Hi .. I try to make the tag fun and a bit of a challenge but not to much it’s a great way to be discovered by people, and to discover other channels . I’ve heard people say it’s their favourite time in the vinyl community because it doesn’t matter how big your channel is we all answer the same questions. I hope you get involved if you do I’ll add you to the vinyl tag playlist on my channel.. I had questions which allow people to shout out other channels you’ve been mentioned quite a few times😀 have a great 2024 👍
