Thanks for playing along Stunty. I know most of your taste falls into this exploratory area.

Interesting response Stunty. I have much to explore from your video. So much great material coming out of this tag.

Been waiting to get to this response... grabbing my popcorn... and go... Hahaha, I cannot believe you showed that "A to Zzzzzz"... I have a copy. When I initially picked it up (over 10 years ago), I did so because I was sampling the record in-store and I liked his version of "Pavane". Really dug what you pulled out for your Moog example, just fantastic. Man, I had that G-Dep 12" and I must have lost it in a sale at some point years ago. I would have never thought of a field recording regarding trains. Fantastic Nurse With Wound list pick... that was pretty unexpected. This was great Stunty. Thanks for taking the time share your response - TONE

Hey Stunty, Very enjoyable hearing your responses, most of these are new for me. Always neat to see another LaMonte Young being shown. Fascinating, the stuff for the field recordings section. Also the toy instruments. Thanks for sharing these. -Carm

LOL, "... because of this horrendous Switched On Bach." That was my choice, bahahaha. Of course, I made my video after yours and only watched yours after I made mine. And I still would have used SOB as a choice, lol. Excellent choices! Cheers!

The A-zzz is a good one to play at dinner parties to see folks becoming increasingly uncomfortable and a little bemused. Wishart I've never heard, intriguing. Need that Railway one, never knew it existed. Good selection Stunty!!!

Wishart is IMHO on par with the absolute greatest of the greats on this record.

THere are several version of it, and all have a great amount of chaotic energy, with lots of very noisy sounds and effects thrown in akmost constantly. Love it

Well done my friend. Needed time to comment since I had to look a bunch of this up. The Bruce Ditmas, which you only mentioned, I've heard reference to but never seen. Wild one with Fred Miller behind it. The Sounds of Love of course I've seen, fun for sure. The Bill Bissett yes, those Canadians got pretty wild at times. From what I've seen, they have a pretty good deal of freakout LPs that rival us Americans. (Crazy People / Nihilist Spasm Band) and this one is right up there. However the Wishart is the one I will add to my wantlist. An artist I've heard of in name only. Never seen that one. Nice job tying in hip-hop which no doubt has plenty of experimental projects. And Lem Tuggle, wow.

Wishart is a great quest, and it should even be a grail, one of my absolut fave records, one of the first I would save from a fire or other plague.

@@StuntrockConfusion not the original, i wish 😇 , I have that record on CD for a ver long time from Gear Fab Records , but then it was reissued in 2019 by this nice local ( Massachusetts) record label Feeding Tube Records , they are specializing in contemporary experimental , obscure music 👍😁. But I am in the know though, I do like music like that 😁

this whole thing was just bait to have you show the actual NWW list...so close. very intrigued by wishart after discovering his second record 'red bird' recently, I do hope yours is reissued. we had Meccano instead of legos, didn't know it was a french/uk toy, cool record too.

Bastien has a bunch of other records, and most tend to be better than the previous one. That Wishart LP should be on the top of your wantlist, several leagues above Red Bird

Hallo stunty very will made Video i enjoyed so much.and this inspired me to give you my personal exklusive experimental vinyl Tag in a german way of sight.even the term experimental music is for me kind tricky because Sound like scientist creating Sound in a laboratorium or so.but perhabs it just means music off the beaten track. Quest 1 Joseph Beuys & Nam june paik In memoriam george macunias from 1978 at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. Quest 2 DeutschDenck kalter Lärm weiße Stille this project from 1980 mainly prominent by Ralf dörper who was famous as Electronic musician with propaganda and die krupps. Quest 3 the nesthaken porn to be wet.what can be better described as a fieldrecording of an orchestated pornography with lots of screamings and groanings Quest 4 Conrad Schnitzler and Bjorn hatterud Hirschgebrüll from 2011 its drony as it can be Quest 5 Heiner goebbels/Heiner Müller fünf Minuten vor der Zeit five minutes too early. Quest 6 Goldbroiler and Ehrlichman proudly presents Kino its Hans reichel with eroc grey brother improvises on the rhythm of a dish brush hitting a spanish guitar.starring the Donald duck waterpistol,the wooden Stick,the electric monkey,the giant mosquito,the weary badger,the plastic teaspoon, and many others. Quest 7 i have to name 2 from Düsseldorf. The First one is der Plan the Song is called commerce exterieur mondial sentimentale a space Pop Instrumental and they gave in 1980 a shit about musical conventions . The other one is die krupps with their mindblowing Stahlwerksinfonie were they used steelparts wich they found from a Former steelwerk and integrate them as stahlofon or huge Xylophon and so on. Quest 8 Foyer des arts from the 10 inch die seltsame Sekretärin the Song the place to go for Kids without mothers in were they used a squeak duck. And as a continuation of this Song by Mensch oyler Tiger-lilly's letzte Nacht im Kinderzimmer. The Producer of this Song Tim buktu made in 1982 the lp barballongs the Song schallplatten what is in german term records.and thats whats its all about. So in this sense i hope its Not too much challenging for you .keep on listening. Bodo

Your #6 is such a fave of mine as are most Reichel records, though ^^ I was kinda surprised you'd mention Die Krupps, even twice, so I might have to forget my prejudice and revisit. I remember them being too over the top for my taste, back then. I love your comments to my videos, Bodo, so much so I would do them only for to get more!
@bodokoeppen73342 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for your kind words and its really honoured me.specially you are the one with the brightest knowledge about music in the vc thats really a Statement. First of all i could have been bet that the Mensch oyler tigerlilly's letzte Nacht im Kinderzimmer could have take your biggest attention.its So insane that creates pictures in your head and very sureallistic.eugen egner is famous for his Cartoons and if possible give them a try and Google them i am sure you really will like them because of their unique Humor .speaking about cartoonist from Wuppertal i definatly recommend jorgo Schäfer he is a lifetime friend of Peter brötzmann because both were born in Remscheid and his paintings and Cartoons were often about jazz and jazzlife interpreted in his own Unique style. Something Else maybe 15 years ago i came across a CD called Maria T. By Alexander balanescu whom you might know by the Soundtracks from Michael nyman, or his Kraftwerk Interpretations on the CD Possessed or together with muszikas bartok Interpretations.but back to the mysterious Maria T. What i learned Maria Tanase Was her name and her voice with such a trimbre and a sense of Melodramatic rich deepness and her mysterious beauty and there are rumours to been a doubleagent in her lifetime.so if Not yet familiar with her music please explore. Btw on one of your last stream you wanted to tell me something about recommendations i made Was it maybe the mino -metallic universe its by mino vakin from 1999.or anything Else let me know. Thank you Bodo
