Never saw that Andrew Hill 'Smokestack' album. So good to see that you grabbed one of the Analogue Productions/Quality Records mono copies of the great great great Pet Sounds. I was listening to my DCC Compact Classic pressing from 1995 and it sounded so good. I am going to try to grab one of those mono pressings and do some comparing. The Brother Records brown pressing from 1972 that I showed a few videos back sounds really good too. Did you ever hear the pressing that comes with Carl in the Passions Chris? That is a good one too. Cliff Jorgan/John Gilmore is another new one for me. You are so darn consistent with your jazz finds. I love it because I am always learning from you. Knocking it out of VC park once again C~ Rob/Boston

What, buy 2 get one free, how do I miss out on that in Amazon. Do you have inside connections? Guess I saved some money. You jazz collection is really becoming quite amazing. So many artist I have no idea about. What a deal for $13. Hey I got that Lamont Butler album, oh yeah, that was from you. Thank you. Man I should have ordered Khruangbin off their web site, that looked great. Quite the update Chris, wow.

It’s actually Target that does that sale a couple times a year and Amazon matches it for the most part. I’ll text you next time it happens. I always monitor the Dead Oceans store for new stuff coming out. I ordered the Khrunangbin and Phoebe Bridges at the same time. Take care buddy!

Another killer line up from you Chris. Crazy Neal Schon playing on that Luis Gasca lp. Saw him play live back in the day. He is the real deal. Def gonna check out Bad Cop . I’ve been having good luck from stuff being sent from the UK/ 2 weeks. I lost by a buck on an OG copy of Blue Train/ Carolina Soul about a month ago. Boy did that hurt. Take care man. Andre’

That Gasca album is killer Andre! I would be so bummed to lose that Blue Train like that. You’ll get one! Take care.

Great finds man! I got lucky and found a ‘72 mono repress of Davis Cup at my local record store, it’s such an incredible album! Love Blowing in from Chicago; one of the best from the Blue Note 1500 series!

Both of those were $25 on sale so I couldn’t pass them up. Nice score on the Davis Cup...not one seen too often in the wild.

Wow, that's quite stack of records. I think the Kenny Dorham and Andrew Hill may be the ones that hold the most interest for me, although I wouldn't argue against anything you showed. Were those Music Matters issues at the end (Coltrane and Jazz Messengers)? Thanks for the update!

The 4 at the end were all 45 rpm Analogue Productions releases. Sound incredible! Thanks for watching Randy!

Those are both Analogue Productions pressings. I have early pressings of both but really wanted to try a couple 45 rpm audiophile recordings since they’re amongst my favorite. Thanks for watching!
