Some excellent finds! That Grant Green one, along with Blue Hour- Stanley Turrentine are some amazing albums! Turrentine was always so consistent on his Blue Note albums! Great mix of stuff, but the jazz especially was some solid stuff!

I hear you on the Deftones pressings Chris. I picked up Covers when it was released by RSD in 2013 and B-Sides & Rarities in 2016. Both of them sold out pretty quick. They are in demand. That Stanley Turrentine / 3 Sounds and the Blakey were solid grabs. I would open up the cover of my SL-1200 and invite every one of those records onto my turntable for an evening of spins. I enjoyed seeing them all Chris. Fantastic update. Looking forward to the next one already~ Rob/Boston

I’m not sure why the Deftones aren’t more readily available. They’re not out of print but they take so long between pressings. I’m sure that SL-1200 has some good tunes on it right now. Take care and stay warm up there!

The Horace Parlan was originally released on one of those 2fers you mentioned at the beginning. It was Booker Ervin's 'Back From the Gig'. The first 2 sides included the tracks that were eventually released under Horace Paron's 'Happy Frame of Mind". Just a fun fact I learned before I purchased the Booker Ervin set.

Correct...I should’ve said first released under Parlan’s name. That Booker Ervin 2 LP is killer! I guess Booker’s name was more popular in the 70’s so they went with that. Thanks for watching...take care!

Maggot Brain is my favorite Funkadelic album. Spacehog - I loved their debut - I need to probably revisit it. Safe as Milk - nice.

I meant to say under Parlan’s name but you are correct it was released under Ervin’s name earlier. I guess they were trying to capitalize on the Booker Ervin name since he was more popular at the time. All about the money!! Thanks for watching!

I've been building quite the Miles collection but still need a Bıtches Brew. I need snag the RSD release though. Dig all the Blue Nore scores. I grabbed the 3 Sounds Bottoms Up! a few months back. I like the Sturgill pressing in green and yellow. Playboys is on the want list. My Sis used to play that STP on a loop back in the day.
