I first heard this song in '71 and it instantly became my favorite all-round song ever made and remains that today. Listened to it thousands of times. That's just the way it is.

hey there! nice video. i have this single aswel in my collection. the original UK 7'' Mono ! neat upload too. just 1 thing i recomend checking out on your player. it seems like your turntable motor runs a bit low on oil or your the brass belt pully on your motor is a tinybit offcenter or bent. which makes the keyboard & vocals giving a bit of a ''wobbly'' effect. it's a cool player too. pretty decent thing! i just hope it was fixed by now haha i just never seen this exact player with this fault yet. so i thought letting you know from a good side! cheers! ~Scott

They were the norm in Brazil. All of them sound terrible though. Having heard them for all my life and having had access to 45rpm records just a couple of months ago, I can clearly hear how much of an actual necessity is for records as small as these to play at faster speeds.
@chuckdieselkicksdisks2380 Жыл бұрын
It kind of simplifies things though cuz then you have one speed and one size hole I have a machine at home with a changer where if they're all the same speeds but different sizes it can play them in a row 10 inch 12 inch 7-in you can mix them up on a stack in the automatic arm can detect
@ZoeysVinylShelf7 ай бұрын
@@alvarosundfeld Paramore released a 5" 33rpm version of Ain't it Fun a while back and honestly that sounds great (you can find it on my channel). Really it comes down to the quality of the vinyl and the cutting level. If you cut loud at 33rpm it tends to distort more easily, and since you have to cut at a lower level you need higher quality vinyl to reduce the surface noise. I've got plenty of Mint 1960s 45s and you can hear the vinyl wasn't always great quality back then, but they could cut loud enough for it not to be an issue.
