Hi, I just bought a beautiful S1000XR Triple Black but the golden dumper is a punch in the eye. As you did I’d like to wrap in carbon black the damper but I’m not 100% sure it would last. Can you tell me if vynil is fine, if it lasts and if any particular instruction/maintenance is needed? Thanks a lot

Thanks, High quality wrap films is safe and easy to remove up to 2-5 years depends on the color and material. Probably for this bike it will take less than 1hr to remove all vinyl. Soon I will upload video about unwrapping my entire car on the beach in less than 45min. Wrap has been on the vehicle for 24 months 🤙

I love the Nardo grey but as a wrap I've never seen one that didn't have lots of orange peel effect up close. Is there any difference in brands that reduce the peely finish?

Check PWF, they have high gloss Nardo Grey color. Orafol has similar shade to Nardo grey and less orange peel than on Avery Rock Grey. As well you can check Inozatek brand 🤙

Thanks for the video! Looks like a lot of work!! Did you need to wrap around each piece of plastic to ensure the vinyl will hold or did you use any kind of primer or edge sealer? Also did you need to make any or many inlays to keep from over stretching - I’m hoping to wrap my S1000RR and to date have only wrapped vehicles. Cheers👍🏻

Thank you 🙌 We do not use primer. Make sure surface is 100% clean and you do not overstretch the vinyl on edges. A lot of inlays needed as well :) same as wrapping front bumper on the car. I love how quick wrapping is and the finished result is quite good. But I was wondering about the wrap around the fuel cap, what happens if you spill fuel on it or if it siphons underneath the wrap?

Fuel cap was removed and was wrapped 40mm deep. If you seal the vinyl properly there will be no issues at all. If you leave fuel on the film for a long time it might cause some marks, but same thing can happen with the paint. As long as you look after yout bike everything will be fine :) my all motorcycles was wrapped and never had any issues with fuel damaging the wrap 👍

Being able to see the stock decals through the wrap looks amateur, sorry but thats a detail to deal with even if you have to double wrap it or remove the factory decals

the orange peel on the vinyl is horrendous. the grey makes the whole bike look like a blob of one colour with no lines no contrast, shame.
