Tartarus Station loot room is hands down the best way to farm high quality legendaries because of the “awesome level” of the chests inside. It’s a quick,fast,and easy run and you usually get on average 3 legendaries per run

@@ShawnDespercastlevania_guy_86 I know this reply is really late but the same happened to me with my old imported saves, all of them. Newly created characters is a different story though. REAL good loot from the Tartarus Hyperion room after you turn in "Getting Lucky" mission and start "Powering the Fast Travel Network" mission. Scales loot to later in game levels, not sure what others missions trigger different levels though. I don't bother with other chest farms anymore except Knox Armory and Certain bosses. Best of luck!

Even without the loot room open, there's just so many chests on the roof tops and such in tartarus station that i don't see the point in farming chests anywhere else.

For the Vault, just load in at any DLC, warp to vault, loot, warp BACK to any DLC place, then save and quit. I like to start at Tartarus, warp to vault and loot, then warp back to Tartarus, then loot the Gift Shop. Rinse and repeat.

I do this too, vault gives guaranteed gearbox legendaries and artifacts, and tartarus station is easy with a lot of good chests.

Dont need to do PT 1 to PT 2 by any means. Save, quit, load, travel to DLC then travel back to vault. Bam 7 chests still.

Keynan Martinez there are indeed, less shitty legendaries in BL1. Overall the loot in BL1 is more balanced, while BL2 is more extreme. There are some crazy OP weapons and grenade mods, but also some legendary ones that are awful and almost worthless.

I'm surprised the Back Door was chosen over Headstone Mine or Dahl Headland. Both have a good amount of chests, enemies that present a challenge (Sledge and Skagzilla along with the Eridians in the Dahl digsite), but are still able to be ran through without much dawdling or effort.

Tartarus Station is the best option, no risk, one chest behind Tannis shack, down the road you have Marcus shop, Zed's station, 18 chests and three more shops. Today i run about 4-5 times and i've got around 20 legendaries and decent blue shield.

He says that there are better areas than the gift shop with higher chances of better loot. I hardly ever get whites out of that room. I don't personally use glitches. There are some legendary weapons I have never seen though and some I have probably seen hundreds of. I would be interested to see a video of consecutive runs of each area and the actual legendary items pulled from them. In my experience TEDIORE Legendary are a dime a dozen.

To farm the Destroyer chest you don't need to switch between playthroughs. All you need to do is exit and go to any DLC and tp to the Destroyer.

Dahl headland has 3 red chests with no enemies. Not the best but a great help if youre stuck with bad gear in a playthrough

I am genuinely surprised tartarus station isnt top 3, sure you need to finish a dlc, but it takes 30 minutes only and gives you 18 red chests and one silver chest each time you reload, and there is an ammo station and gun station right beside. Edit: the run back is also very short and without enemies

3:50 I started farming here. After looting 4x chests and killing the boss. I save and quit. Then repeat everything again. I level up to 20. Got all but energy weapons. Plus made bank from selling junk.

I always though headstone mine was a good place to farm. There's a crap ton of chests (Red & Silver) all within the first area of the place and the enemies aren't too bad to deal with if you got decent gear. A lot of the mines and caves have a good handful of chests too.

For the Vault. You only need to save and load in from a DLC location not another play through. Load underdome, save and quit, start up game, loot the vault, repeat.

You can go to Playthrough 1 while you are in Playthrough 2. Because, still. The game will see what level you are and spawn a weapon of that level :D (This saved me several times. Also because you will get gear that can be a level higher than the game says at that moment because weapons are terrible scaled. While you can be as high as level 40, you can encounter level 34/35 weapons until you get to the "Get Steel" part of playthrough 2.)

Just fyi puma, you dont need to beat the destroyer in both playthrough's to do the destroyer glitch. Just playthrough one. The guranteed legendarie will always scale relative to your level. More or less.

I found that with the vault farm, I don't have to switch my playthrough at all, I go into playthrough two, start in the vault, fast travel to a dlc, and fast travel back without switching my playthrough and the chests respawn

Nice work congrats !! until recently I was playing BL1... the first 'the backdoor' I did not do it and the others I missed the odd one as in Sledge and Crimson. Very good to have shown the Crawmeranx. How did you play a game like this on Xbox? Did you do a Playthrough 2 to reach level 69? I suppose... I reach to level 47 in the Playthrough 1 , I started the Playthrough 2, but the level rise was low, and the enemies are always 10 level below. A Tip : you can re-edit the video and add it by doing a view of everything you have in Backpack or if you have items stored in the Bank of Underdome. Regards !

The gift shop is the absolute best legendary farm. You can get every world drop from it and with so many drops often times some of the best possible parts.

Nodoga Thats not true. You can literally get any legendaries in the gift shop except for gearbox. Besides there are only 2 gb weapons that are worth farming for in the vault. Once u get those 2, gift shop will outclass the vault in every single way based on the rarity of items found.

Where's the Frystone chest at the start when you went down the bus. Best early lvl 1 - 3 farm and best start playthrough 2 chest farm. Good on playthrough 2 if you come in unprepared with not so good gear and will give you better gear than DLC's from playthrough 1

Switching playthroughs is not required for the vault farm. You just need to travel to a DLC area and save quitting and then traveling back to the vault after you load in.

Tartarus station is only viable at max level because the level of the loot in the chests is leveled to your level at the start of the DLC.

I dont think that's true. On P1, I started the robolution at level 30 before i completed the main quest. I then completed the rest of the dlcs and story, and my level is now in the 40s. Tartarus station drops weapons that are around that, or at least lvl 44. Im pretty sure that I ended tartarus station at 37.

Damn, you skipped half the chests in Tartarus Station! Yes it's faster to JUST do the gift shop but holy hell, there's at least 10 more red chests and 10 white you skipped. This area is the clear #2 in my mind.

reignmanss in the remaster the gift shop chests are max AL (awesome level) meaning they can drop the best gear aside from pearls most base game chests have very low AL, the other chests in Tartarus are low AL too meaning you get much more whites etc. AL also determines parts along with rarity meaning the weapons from higher al chests are much more likely to be good.

I level up not by killing the guardians, but I kill rakk hive playthrough 2! It might be harder because rakk hive spawns rakks and has alot of hp. But after you kill the vault in playthrough 2 I call it playthrough 3 because it's harder and all bad guys have different names BUT when you kill the vault in playthrough 2 then stay in p. 2 and go to trash coast (where rakk hive is) then skip past the spiderants and go to rakk hive climb the rocks without the barrier and BOOM your safe and if you think the rakks could get you they cant because they dont spawn!!

The only guns worth getting in BL1 remastered is the Gearbox guns that are 100% drop rate after killing the destroyer (the fact bl3 brought back the destroyer was lame af, it was so anticlimactic in the first one and then mixing it with the twin, just lame.)
