Had a Viofo for years now. never let me down. the GPS is handy to prove you were where and when you were too. Screen reflections can be dealt with by using some cheap polarizing film which you can just stick over the lens. If my current cam dies on me, This will be the likely replacement.

I religiously watch all your videos and have done for a couple of years or so since I came across your channel. Your honesty and reactions are becoming legend. Say it how it is and if you have to call someone a c***, do it. You ain't on your own. Too many of them about now. And don't get ME started about bikers and scooter riders and stoopid pedestrians and professional drivers and.. Oh sod it, you get my drift. Now Tony, I have a Motability vehicle and hard wiring of accessories is not allowed. Does the rear camera have to be wired in? Bloody 'ell, all that to ask a simple question!

That camera looks really good for the price. I used to do a prince's trust course up the road from that mosque from the direction you travelled from. Where you see that royal mail van, it looks like that big pub that was on the corner has gone.?? You're right about the ever changing situation with road rules in London, back roads that I would take from Croydon flyover to the old cinema/cinatras are now blocked so had to go back on myself. Thank god mostly everyone I care about has got out of there now, so I have no need to go back.

The pub was The Crown. The tall building is Crown House, named after it.

Im a viofo fan and currently run their A129 4K pro camera with rear camera setup. That new one with the sony starvis 2k hdr looks good. Hard to tell in the video the quality but my main thing is if it can pick up most number plates as thats need if say you wanted to report that car for an offense. Also nice to see footage in Morden. Go there from north London to see family and recognised that road which heads to Morden station

For the price, the video quality is very good. Looks like it has plenty of tricks too. And the Mosque in Morden is the largest in Britain. Back in the 60`s it was an Express Dairy milk depot and was even rail connected. A few years ago, someone started a fire in the Mosque. I used to use a motorbike shop just a bit further down London Road. Looks like they`ve refurbished the old Crown House.

I think the only problem is not having the rear camera. But in terms of quality seems pretty good. For the price I would buy it.. Actually I might. Thanks for the review.

5:38 The pass of the bus seemed to be unconflicted - and the bus signal was only just activated after the driver pulled out. But shouldn't they have also been signalling their overtake? I reckon they're unlikely to pass today. Another one rides the bus ... 😏

Picture/Sound quality seems to be ok on this unit. I had to 😁 at your description about certain other units but 'Pony' is not that well known and it doesn't, in this case, mean a certain sum of money lmfao.

I am torn between the A119 or this VS1 Mini. Right now its £99 vs £114 but I have a 5% off coupon. So basically, correct me if I am wrong the VS1 will have its own app (much like the expensive action cameras) that allows one to just use the app to see the videos or what the camera see's.

Yes correct you can use the Viofo app, I always download the app when I'm installing a camera just to make sure the positioning of the camera is where I want it.

Im confused, aren't the cameras designed to flush against the screen? So how come we can see the other camera?

Top value that. I know literally nothing about dash cams, so please don't shout at me. Could you buy 2 of these and use 1 as a rear camera, obviously needing to overcome wiring?

You could do but you are better off getting a Dash Cam that does both,

Whats your opinion of the 229 pro please ? I have had enough of my nextbase letting me down when twats crawl out in front of me when Im going 40 with no attempt to accellerate even though the road behind me is empty 😡😂
