Thanks for the review. I just got the camera today for my daughter and I'm sure she's going to be happy. Anyone buying it should definitely get a bigger SD card since 32GB is way below what they recommend. It can only hold about 25 minutes of video.

Thank you! Yes, you can install one in the back of the car but you will need to find a separate power source for the rear dashcam. You can't connect the two together. Viofo has other 2 and 3 channel options which can work better. We did a review of the Viofo A229 Plus dashcam. It comes with 2K front and 2K rear cameras, both with Sony Starvis 2 sensor. I think, it will better if you are looking for the front and rear dashcam set. Can a rear camera be added? Or do you have to by another separate camera for rear recording?

The VS1 only comes as the front dashcam. Viofo has two and three channel cameras which might work better if you want to have front and rear recording. I would look at Viofo A229 Plus. I noticed it too. I installed it next to another dash cam / digital mirror. This may have caused an interference with the GPS signal.

I consider that VS1 is recording better than your videos are showing it. Your videos are too dark.

It was raining when I was recording videos for this review. That is why everything is greyish during the day. Nevertheless, I still find the video quality to be great for such conditions. 2K resolution is 2560 by 1440 pixels. Where the 2560 is the horizontal resolution and 1440 is the vertical resolution.
