As a kid, Austin native Valentine visited the UK several times with her moms, who is English. On one such trip in 1975, she joined the fledgling hard rock female band Girlschool, who would later become allies with Motorhead. When she returned to Texas, Valentine formed the Violators, Austin's first punk band, before leaving town again for Los Angeles, where she joined...the Go- Go's.

Ay are these the original? If so my dad was the rhythm guitarist, Mark Coley, he wasn't playing here cause he thought it was best to leave it to rest. Just cool to listen to their older stuff cause some of its awesome. They were actually offered a place to play on Top Of The Pops but they declined cause they thought it was fake bullshit. haha.
