The hand gesture is well known for women who are in danger. I first saw the gesture on Dramatize me, where in one of the episodes, the actress taught something about the hand gesture. Then I saw it on tik tok where a girl was kidnapped. This hand gesture is very important to learn.

I really hope you all read this comment of mine. As someone who's been in a past relationship that involved abuse/domestic violence, please don't ever be with someone who controls you, acts possessive, overly jealous, or controlling/manipulative. It'll be a huge mistake for you. Trust & believe me! You should have the right to always feel safe in a relationship, if you don't or aren't sure, trust your instincts & let them go. Nobody deserves to be treated this way. Know your worth.💕 If you are already in an abusive situation, please seek help. It is readily available to you. You don't have to deal with this. It's abuse, not love!🥺 Big difference. No matter where you live, you can get support if you seek it. God bless & thank you Luis for this video.🌟 Unfortunately, relationships like this are much more common than you'd think.

OMG, Luis, I'm so glad you did this video this way. you are right, it happens little by little. Some girls don't see the signs of a Warlock, an abusive controlling witchcraft spirit rooted in jealousy. They steal girls' youth and sometimes they lose their lives to these abusive men. Thank God for her friend that never gave up on her. We all need someone looking out for us when we don't have the power to get out. Thanks for doing more stories like these, Great video and life lesson.

I am so glad that her friend Felicia recognized that she was signaling for help with that sign with her hand. Domestic violence should NEVER be tolerated by women who have been trapped by a violent partner. Unfortunately thousands of women are living with this particular problem, possibly millions of them. Always report it to the police. Run somewhere safe and then call the police and have him arrested. Some women are too afraid to do this which is why their best friends have to step in like Felicia did. She really cared for her and protected her the way a best friend should. Thank you Luis for this video making awareness of domestic violence available to everyone!💕🌼💟🌼🌈🌈

Sadly it doesn't always end well for an abused woman. Most of the time the police don't care. The police take the word of the man when he says "She's crazy, she is a crazy bitch." If the police do arrest the guy, he posts bail and is right back to the girl and abuses her. I had a friend who had an abusive boyfriend. He wouldn't leave her alone. He'd stalk her and force his way into her house. He would always find out where my friend moved. The police said they were "tired of dealing with relationship drama" The police even threatened to arrest her for false claims. Said that she was wasting their time. My friend had to sneak out in the middle of the night and move across the country. She was lucky, she got away. Many women don't.

This program captured the progression of an abusive relationship--starts with loving affection, then critical of friends, isolation from others "for your own good", gaslighting, and finally outright physical abuse which the abuser downplays and/or makes the victim believe they bring it on themselves. I've seen it too many times as a prosecutor. The victim here was lucky her best girlfriend persisted in worrying about her.

That's bullshit. If you really trust eachother, you can just hang around with whoever you want. I got a boyfriend and one of my best friends is a guy. He knows he can trust me and people like you should learn to trust your partner too. It's the controlling thing that will go wrong and the other person could just do things in secret.

Well done Felicia. I teach self defence and my classes are full of women who have suffered domestic abuse. Now Domestic violence is only part of domestic abuse. Ironically we've just had Domestic Violence awareness month but at Christmas cases of Domestic violence rocket. The commonest types of domestic abuse are as follows. Online- one partner spreads malicious stuff about the other. Physical- like in this case. Emotional- like in this case- a toxic partner but they may not be aware they are doing it. Neglect- one neglects responsibilities but they may not be aware they are doing it. Sexual- one gets the partner to do things they don't want- some overlap with online. Unfaithfulness- one is unfaithful to the other. Financial abuse- "go on leave me but how will you pay the bills?" The victim has no choice but to go back. Female genital mutilation. Forced food- in some cultures they force their children to eat food of the home country. Forced marriage. Forced language- people from overseas make their children learn the language of the home country against their will compromising the ability to speak English. Forced religion. Forced culture people from overseas make their children learn the culture of the home country against their will compromising the ability to integrate. Forced parenting people from overseas parent their kids in the ways of the home country. For example in India it is wholly acceptable to beat up your kids. Forced sexuality- in some cultures they force their children to marry against their will if they find out their kids are gay. Forced schooling in some cultures they force their children to study against their will often causing the child considerable distress. Please see these factsheets Let's eradicate domestic abuse once and for all-part 1 #youarenotalone video-newsletters.tf/ry_QgQcSF Domestic abuse: if you see the sign above - then act quickly. This person is in danger. #youarenotalone video-newsletters.tf/ry2_tl18K Domestic abuse: how to get help if you are in danger- part 2. #youarenotalone video-newsletters.tf/BkiHAVeIK Domestic abuse in children video-newsletters.tf/SkjE18QUt

Agreed. Dating violence is unacceptable, too. Man or woman, straight or gay, nobody has any business physically, emotionally/mentally, or verbally abusing their significant others, at all.

Any guy that puts his hands on a girl and controls her is a pice of garbage and we all know what happens to garbage, and any guy that puts his hands on a girl is animal, but sadly there's soo many women out there who are in abusive relationships it's just sickening, and girls deserve to be treated like a princess or treated like a person and not like property

Thank you for making this video. I’ve never been in a domestic abusive relationship but I’ve been in verbal and emotionally abusive relationship and I know how hard it is to get out.

This is controlling! No one should be abuses We all have our own rights and respect as how you would be treated the same! Something nasty should happen whatever it is, then you should know things are not right and be a quick thinker and save your own soul ! Learn to fight for it and don't be a puppet and let others push you around Good luck Thanks for sharing this story

I thought about controlling my crush if she’s my girlfriend because she’s super hot, and it would make me angry for other people to hit on her, but I knew it wouldn’t be a good idea to control who she hangs out with. On top of that, I wouldn’t abuse her like giving her a black eye.

In reality, she would've gotten arrested for that assault and he wouldve been set free because nobody actually witnessed him give her that black eye.

NO, in reality if the genders were reversed what you described would happen, def not when it's male to female though. Leave us our arguments, don't dare touch them.

Hey Luis, remember on Instagram when you said you only visited the ‘cool states’ like Florida, California, New York and Texas? Yeah how do you identify cool states? Do you mean the states with the highest populations? (because Florida New York California and Texas are the four most populous states)
