I'm really liking how this game looks and sounds compared to HD Remix. And while I would've preferred other new characters (like Gouken and maybe Sakura since they wanted to add more shotos, I mean seriously HUGE missed opportunity to add Gouken), Evil Ryu and Violent Ken look pretty good. Now if only Brook would release an adapter for the Nintendo Switch so I could use my fightstick....

I wouldn't be really complaining about this if this was some DLC (because the music is good, love the characters, and seeing them old school is quite nice). Except, the price is way to high. Like any remake, you decide to buy it out of A: Consumer Loyalty. Or B: what added features make this game superior to its predecessor? But this is not worth complaining about. SF5 and the roster to M vs C infi is worth complaining about.

Whoa, Ash is right about remix background music not as good as the original. I can't quite describe but it sounds like they are trying too hard to be original but just sound to blaring. That could be due to the music being louder than any other sound but if I get this game, I'm turning down that remix music down but if that doesn't work sticking to the original. Tho, what's up remix Capcom music from the mid 80's- and earyl 90's sounding a lot worst than the original? It wouldn't be so jarring if the originals weren't such masterpieces. The only example where this doesn't apply to is the remix themes of the original Mega Man games in Smash 4. Those were just as good or slightly better than the original, not sure who did those remixes, Capcom or Nintendo, or both but don't have reinvent music just keep it simple and go from there, like what was done in Smash 4.

Lava Bender it's supposed to look awful, it's just hand drawn animations over top of sprites from a 20 year old game. As for violent ken, that is a character idea that was created by SNK about a decade ago. This is the forms first official appearance in a street fighter game.

Dramatic Battle( or buddy battle) was first brought to us via SF Alpha 1 at the arcades way back with a code. then to Alpha 2, and finally Alpha 3 ( even had reverse dramatic battle 2 cpu vs you). make no mistake the "buddy" battle you see is on easy. There is a Grandmaster difficulty. oh btw the Alpha series version was 2 players sharing the same super meter.
