Streets of Fire-Love the movie and love the soundtrack!

A bit of background, Fire Inc was a fictional band created by songwriter Jim Steinman, who is best known for writing a majority of Meatloaf's best songs and albums. He's also written a few songs for Bonnie Tyler (such as Total Eclipse of the Heart & Holding Out for a Hero). There's two songs by them & both feature a different singers they are Laurie Sargent & Holly Sherwood. Meatloaf would go on to cover Nowhere Fast for his Bad Attitude album, but that would only feature the same composition & chorus as the lyrics were mostly changed up by Steinman. I felt like this film had the opportunity to be great, a few set up moments that never have a resolution (like the singer saying she never wrote her own music, but never do we see her get the confidence to do so). I compared it to The Warriors as they have to save the girl & then go through gang territory (and cops) to get her back. But yeah I can see Escape From New York being another comparison. Jim Steinman is one of my favorite songwriters, look him up and find the music he's done over the years. Aside from the 7 Meatloaf albums he worked (4 where he wrote all music & 3 where he wrote a few) he's worked on a solo album as well as Celine Dion and even created an all female band Pandora's Box.

Also sorry to break it to you, but the girl dancing during The Blasters song was actually a guy. They were in a gay club. Don't worry it took me a second to realize it was a man because he was so skinny.
