very late stage spoilers from the LN: i mean if you know the story behind Wisdom King Raphael, you'd know that she never wanted to control the fate of mortals, and openly opposed the Heavens by extension of that wish. the only reason Michael didnt subjugate her for her treason was because Stellar King Dragon Veldanava loved the soul inside of her, Lucia Nava. Even after Veldanava's power waned when he lost the authority of Raphael he never stopped believing in her.

There are some things a primordial demon can do while a demon lord can’t, this just goes to show that even though there is a massive strength difference, history of knowledge and skills are more important. Rimuru is extremely lucky to have Raphael (Great sage, Raphael, Ciel) As it’s basically the Computer assistant that can do anything needed yet it is still limited.

If there's anyone who ended up with the short end of the stick in the end, it's Violet. Her 'experiment' ended in failure, and it wasn't even Rimuru's fault. Lacua overstepped his bounds and caused a whole mess of things. Well, he is of no longer any concern to Violet as Rimuru pretty much cleaned up her mess without even realizing WHO'S mess it really was. Only Diablo knows, but... let's just say it's not really any of our business what Primordial Demons think.

It's really an illogical ending. Raphael, not Great Sage, is clueless multiple times while Violet, a Primordial without name, can casually revive them without any sacrifice. Rimuru basically have revived half of Tempest and made them immortal but unable to do anything. And don't forget Diablo who is as experienced as Violet but much stronger.

Violet's magic was the thing exacting the cost of death from the Queen, so ergo, Violet also had the power to refund that cost due to a voided contract. Also, Rimuru had an abundance of bodies to resurrect when he revived people. As for Diablo... This is logical as it forces violet (ultima) to give up the age old contract of Towa and her ancestors which violet needs to have a physical body while she doesn't have anyone to name her. In the tensura lore, unnamed primordials can have a physical manifestation if someone makes a contract with them giving them physical powers that manifest into bodies, without that lifeline they cannot last in the outside realm for long periods of time nor to use their powers continuesly. That's why diablo can act arrogantly as Guy, rain and miser being the only primordials that have a name and they other 3 don't (soon will be named testarossa and Carrera and also ultima).
