I love Violette's approach to makeup. I would describe it as "natural", but with a kick. She doesn't over-do it and it's all about enhancement rather than creating totally new features that aren't there (like a narrow contoured nose, overly-neat eyebrows, ridiculously long lashes, etc).

I find that if you can find a beautiful rose toned “ balm “ ( like Vaseline’s Rosy Lips ) it can do the same . I keep it in my handbag for something “ casually “ sheer looking - so when you remove the mask , it still looks good. Under a rose toned matte lipstick, it looks very nice when it wears down a little. ) They cost me about $1 at Walmart.

I used to think that make-up isn't make-up without a lot of product. I also thought that in order to be good at it, you have to use expensive brushes all over your face. Ever since I found you, I learned to love my skin the way it is and I understood that you can be chic even without all the brushes, tons of product and excessive layering.
