Violin Busker - Real or Fake?

Saw this "violinist" busking at my local grocery store. Seemed pretty sus to me, but I'm not a violinist. Once I started videoing he started acting more oddly with exaggerated body movements. I'm thinking fake since it hit content matches on Shazam and KZbin, also I refuse to believe any musician intelligent enough to play this well can't distinguish the difference between "four" and "for".

and whys he playing on the string still when the music is only guitar strumming at 1:01 … Also he keeps playing the high C (the C an octave above middle C) in a higher position with his middle finger, when it’s most commonly played with the middle finger in the first position (so his hand wouldn’t be that high on the fingerboard), or with the pinky finger in the third position. Also highly unlikely you’ll ever play a C using anything above first position judging by the previous notes he was playing.

OK Fake or not, - PROVE IT - let me see him play that same piece without the backing track. I will give him money if he can play without the soundtrack. More and likely he is not playing that song. I think he's real. He definitely knows how to play based on his bow hold, posture, etc. But the real giveaway for me was what was going on between songs starting about 1:11 or so. He's actually plucking those strings and doing little things that wouldn't be on any recording. Though he could still be faking to a playback because he's lazy or something. Or maybe not as good a player as the recording.
