I don't want to tell you how long I've been at the beginner stage, get to page 21 and that ends my study for months. It's a learning block of some sort. Then I go chasing through the book to find out where my fingers should go for all those notes, and decode the symbols again. I think something is clicking and then I can't see any progress. I always come back to check your videos for research to get going again. Thank you for all the valuable information on your channel. I've learned that I don't like the E string.

Hello. Isn't note B about 3,5 away from the beginning of the string A? You say about 1 cm or did I misunderstand?

Its about 1cm from the nut - the beginning of the string. The exact placement depends on the width of your fingers of course, so listen to the tuning to find the precise spot!
