Pure bullshit! In Armenia it used to be very common that every child played an instrument after school and engaged in sports. Many armenians are among the best Violinist in the world. Samvel is definitely one of them and he is definitely far better than Bijan. He is very well educated and knows everything that is worth to know about violin.

But if you understand meaning of word virtuosity, you should katch that moment, Samvel is playing calm , quick and correct. When you look at him it makes you thinking it is so easy, when you look at Bijan it seems difficult to do. That is explanation for people who is not prof musician:)

Samvel is truly a great violonist but it is certainly too much to call him "the best" beside giants like Roman Kim, Augustin Hadelich,James Ehnes, etc. let's face it. You've picked the wrong song for Samvel. I think you're looking for a speed match and this isn't Samvel's fastest speed. Now, if you'd were to pick songs like "until the last moment", "for all seasons", "Prelude" etc. that unfolds Samvel's true brilliance and authentic melisma, I think we'd all without a doubt conclude that Samvel is incomparable.
