I really hope you answer my question I want to know why does my strings get out of the tune after a few seconds of tuning even though when I'm tuning them I push the pegs in

I am trying to understand the way to isolate the wrist or elbow from the shoulder and where is the point of leverage? I keep moving the bow off the strings. Thank you for your video which addresses this to some degree. I am still having difficulties with it.

Don't worry too much about isolating as usually it's a combined movement. Place the bow on the string a bit above the middle of the bow and make silent string crossings not lifting the bow to practice.

How does the pinky finger of your hand come into play to prevent one from coming in for a hard landing on the string your changing to if at all.
