Blake, since you make music and mention the name of Freddie Mercury, I would love to introduce you to Dimash Kudaibergen (a once in a generation vocalist from Kazakhstan who has a five and a half octave vocal range and is an accomplished musician) One of his latest performances is titled 'Ave Maria - a vocalise not unlike the one by S. Rachmaninoff. Try listening to him on KZbin and see what impression you get. You may also listen or watch his 'Passione". These are compositions by Igor Krutoy, a celebrated Russian composer of popular music. Good luck and I love your passion when you perform. Stay well.
