3 "mega loopers" from Arrow Dynamics would ever open to the public, all with the same elements and similar layouts: Shockwave, Great American Scream Machine and Viper. All the three rides briefly held the title for the fastest and tallest looping coasters in the world, and Viper also appeared in several media productions such as Glee, Beverly Hills 90210, movies like Encino Man (1992), commerciale and even video games (it appears on RollerCoaster Tycoon 2)
Despite the success of the attraction and a lenghty refurbishment that spanned August - December 2018, it seems that the only thing that Viper has left in common with his defunct sister coasters (that closed in 2002 and 2010) is ROUGHNESS!

Viper holds the title for me as "The first ride to make me legit black out from g force" award. It also made my sister's ears bleed cause her earrings were getting SLAMMED into those restraints.

Rode this in 2019. Last arrow mega looper I rode was Great American Scream Machine at Great Adventure. This ride is waaaay smoother.

This video is a joke/meme ahahhaha, but those kind of coasters are pretty old school (for instance, Viper was not made with the aid of computers even if it's from 1990) and so headbanging happens on them (never ridden one of those, so don't ask me my experience)
