For those of you who have been here long enough, you know that I started out not speaking too much, and instead relying on text on screen to relay the info, well I didn't feel like doing any voice overs in this one, so I went back to that and made this Hellreign style since it's just old archived throwaway footage. At the time I didn't really think I had anything interesting, but hey, it's some content for you guys. Now I'm going to go back to my hidey hole and work on the next SnG episode. Cheers!

I've had missions like that - though I've found from experience that dropping CBU's is as easy as dropping an iron bomb ... My TW HOTAS Cobra v5 drop is slaved to Trigger 2 when in AG mode, after unlocking with Trigger 3 ... but it works well. The one thing I did find useful was also to drop them in pairs, as a single pylon drop can catch the F-16 driver unawares in terms of roll-into-loaded-pylon for asymmetric load. Great video, appreciated as always !
@peterlaanguila60893 жыл бұрын
Aaah yes. I can relate to this kind of sessions. Landing low, not knowing why it does not drop bombs/launch mavs, shooting too short for the SA6... This is a "mortal" people session and I feel you bro.

To deploy unguided bombs in CCIP mode in the viper you must alight the pipper with the target then press *and hold* the weapon release button. This basically changes your mode from CCIP to CCRP, much like the harrier, and will release the bombs automatically once you are over the target.

Im correct, FAR AIM 4-1-9. While you can say departing runway 22 which is what I think you're suggesting, my version follows the rules. I'm already telling which way I'm taking off, that's what the runway 22 (in example) call is for, the departure call is to say which way you will be departing the pattern, and the turn is self explanatory. Thats the way we were taught by my CFIs here in NYC.
