A great question expansion between the coughs of viral, bacterial, and mycoplasma: Viral pneumonia usually begins with a dry, persistent cough that may later produce mucus and is often accompanied by other "cold-like" symptoms, like a runny nose and sore throat. Bacterial pneumonia, on the other hand, presents with a more abrupt onset of a severe, productive cough, often bringing up thick yellow, green, or rusty-colored mucus, along with high fever and chills. Mycoplasma pneumonia, sometimes called "walking pneumonia," tends to cause a distinctive dry, hacking cough that persists for weeks and in some cases can become productive. It comes on more gradually than bacterial pneumonia, and while milder, it can be stubborn to resolve, even after antibiotics. It's important to know other distinguishing signs like mentioned in the video

i just had flu a and most of the symptoms you said at first but now i have a more persistent cough and more of the symptoms that seem like phenomena. i’m just don’t know if it’s still the flu or phenomena, since i wake up nauseous and with headache in the mornings and today i tried to do my hair but i couldn’t even do a quarter bc i got too tired, i also had a dry and phlegmy cough that happens like every minute and it makes it hard to sleep. idk just wondering what you think.

@@katiegilreath8664 Oh wow, yes thank you!

As a comment below suggested, this probably autocorrect from lobar pneumonia! Lobar pneumonia is a lung infection that affects an entire lobe of the lung.

Mycoplama in a 11 y.o. Treated with antibiotics for 7 days. Fever stopped after a few days with meds, but he is caughing and and have so little energy still after 14 days after onset of symptoms. How long should I expect this low energy to last?

My 5 y/o is finally feeling so much better. I chose to treat him at home. I was giving him mullein tea for days which helped loosen up all the phlegm. He had fever a few days but i remembered and put sliced onions on his feet it went away the following morning. Today, week 3, i took him a hot bath with a splash of alcohol and rosemary leaves and he is feeling great. He is laughing and playing around right now as i type this msg. Ithank god and give him all the glory. God made plants and herbs for our healing... I pray that your son feels better soon and that you have peace of mind in jesus name. ❤

Many people wonder why we see new illnesses or recurring ones like pneumonia. Most of these infections are caused by viruses or bacteria that evolve over time, adapting to survive. Some, like the flu or COVID-19, can change yearly, which is why we see new strains. So they're not "new" just have adapted to survive.
