This was an excellent parody of Cosmos. Captain Disillusion, is the perfect kind of character to do a tribute like this with. He's not dissimilar to a non-dilapidated version of Filthy Frank, in terms of overall structure of character, and has a perfect sci-fi/skeptic element to parody Neil De'Grasse Tyson.

I know it's hard to make these episodes, and it takes time but it would be so awesome if you guys could do more regular uploads that I would be willing to throw in at least something on a kickstarter or whatever to hire more people to help out. Based on something posted back in 2000??? 405?? Really? Try even older than that. The concept was dreamt up by the people at the long dead company Foundation Imaging, a CG company that landed the space shuttle on a rocket car in a fun video meant to promote a TV show that never happened called Buckaroo Banzai Ancient Secrets and New Mysteries. Look it up, you will see that exact thing..

+Sean Dali Actually, the wheels, rim+tire weigh "only" 200lbs each so the truck is fine there, but the rest of the plane... the front gear carries about 5-10% of the weight. that's 5000lbs, which is 3500lbs more than what the truck can handle. Yes, the truck is toast. But debunking this is even simpler than doing the maths on the weight: if the front gear fails, they retract it and make a belly-landing, which works just fine and is a lot safer for the plane, let alone the truck driver.

Hey Captain D, so one thing, a comets tail wouldn't be trailing behind based on which direction the comet is moving, it is instead based on where the sun is shining from, so the tail could be pointing forward if the sun was behind the comet. Other than that great video, love the quality.
