Me Also Pat Sylvest. We are looking for something to ground us and connect us to our other selves-- the part of us that is better. It is such a joy for me to witness the humanity taking place beginning with social media And connecting to the humanity that is still in some of us on earth. It helps me experience the grace, gratitude and glory amongst our cohabitating with all of the species. I am in Florida on a recovery journey from alcoholism. And my highlight yesterday was I got to watch a small sea turtle eat some greens at the beach and then I followed him to a place where he /she built a shelter in the sand. It was an amazing opportunity that I am grateful to have recognized.

People need videos like these in this time of isolation and uncertainty. They need a small break from the stress, something that will completely take their mind off what’s going on. Contributing to the well being of an animal, even if it’s just a dollar, triggers that dopamine release and aids in giving that boost of feeling good!

@CBS Sunday Morning - I think that Pogue and the CBS fact-checkers might find that the alleged "first cat video" of 1864 is about 22 years earlier than the oldest surviving actual motion picture. Good piece, all things considered, but that's an egregious error.

I'm more impressed with the creator of We Rate Dogs. This kid dropped out of college to build his business. The Dodo chick just tapped into her father's connections as the founder of HuffPost and her brother, founder of Thrillist. It's nice, but seems like she has to keep up with family expectations.
