When I was growing up, my Stepdad's next door neighbor unknowingly had a wolf/Lab hybrid. ( He was lied to by the person he got her from). She was the most loving and loyal "dog" I ever met. She would be beside herself whenever I came by to visit, and she wouldn't let me out of her sight. Very protective, of me and her pack (the other dogs she lived with, plus my Stepdad's dogs, & I). She loved it when I came over. I was just as important to her as her humans, and she was my shadow, I never questioned where she was. She was also very intelligent, as well. She respected me and always listened to me, even as a kid. BTW, it's NOT a "hypothetical" showdown of an Argentine Dogo and a Mountain Lion, there is a true story of 1 in the breed's home country, that saved his owner's young daughter, by killing the Mountain Lion. Look up, "Chaco".

Honestly, the American Pitbull should have been listed above the kangal. There are greater feats of strength from the American Pitbull. Not only in strength sports like weight pulling, but also in taking down other animals such as cows, horses, donkeys, and llamas as seen in news stories. The video also got something wrong about the history. American Pitbulls were bred to take on bulls and were used in bull baiting. They were not specifically bred for dog-vs.-dog combat. People started using them and then breeding them for it after bull baiting was banned because dog combat was easier to hide from law enforcement.

The meaning of powerfull depends on weight and energy delivered so as you may understand physics, the most powerful dog breeds are the ones that are the heaviest and the ones that got more stamina like kangal, caucasian shepherd, wolf dogs, dogo argentino, presa canario, boerboel, cane corso and bandogges.

You make a video about the most powerful breeds in the world and omit the Alaskan Malamute! A Malamute named Delbert holds the world record in weight pulling. Delbert pulled 5,600 pounds for 16 feet, which is extremely impressive. For those not well-versed in weight pulls. Dogs pull in rounds and work their way up to a max pull. Delbert pulled for 19 rounds to reach that weight. Also, the Inuit used Malamutes to hunt and kill polar bears when food was scarce. Not even Arctic wolves dare attack healthy polar Bears.

Agreed. I've had pitbulls, rotties, and great Danes, German shepherd. I've never felt the power of the boerboel in any of the other dogs I've had in the past. The boerboel's power is unbelievable!
