The innings he played against Australia at Perth in the 2018/19 test series on a spicy wicket against Starc Cummins and Hazlewood was out of this world. Not just limited overs but all three forms of the game there isn't a better player. We will only realise his greatness once he's gone.

@Kiwi Smith Smith is the better test player. I said across all three formats Kohli is better. Read mate, read!!
@chetandosco3 жыл бұрын
I agree that Smith is a better test bat than kohli, but kohli is slightly behind Smith in test, Smith is way way behind kohli in odi and t20. Moreover, I don't think maxwell is anywhere near kohli in t20. High strike rate is great, but an average of 50 across all 3 formats including t20 over a decade is mind blowing. Hard to comprehend almost. Adapting between 3 formats while also captaining and maintaining a 50+ avg makes you a bona-fide legend. Smith is amazing though.

What a person he is! What a champion mindset!!! Without even a single unnecessary word or even a bit of stammering, the man's just keeping on pouring words of wisdom. Young players just take a look at this! It's not just about skill and hardwork that'll take you to the top. It's a mindset like this. Even when Nasser asked him about Virat carrying the whole Indian cricket on his shoulders, for a while i thought he would become very humble and say, "no it's not just me, we have MSD, Rohit and others too, to get the job done." But instead he says "I want to take that responsibility on my shoulders until i stop playing." This man is just HUNGRY. PS: What impressed me the most is that he had the balls to face those throwdowns without wearing a pair of leg guard!

On the field he might appear as an angry young man, excessively loud some times, too emotional, and does possesses that in-your-face attitude; but all said and done his cricketing abilities and the way he thinks about his game are testimony to why he is praised so highly. An absolute genius 💯🙏👍🇮🇳

Virat is a GOAT no doubt but saying no one has ever close to him is false. He’s in the all time GOAT list along with ABD, Sachin, Ponting, Viv. Viv dominated the 80s, Sachin and Ponting dominated the 2000s, ABD dominated the 2010s, in fact such utter dominance that he was ranked either #1 or #2 for 10 years straight. Virat dominated the second half of the 2010s from 2016 onwards. But I’ve never seen someone dominate in a league of his own like AB has. For me AB is #1 followed by Viv and then Virat, Sachin and Ponting. By the end of his career Virat will surely move up the list and might finish ahead of Viv and alongside AB.

When can we have a Masterclass with MS Dhoni about how to finish games?
@akhilmishra32589 ай бұрын
The amount of passion Virat has for this beautiful game explains why he is "THE VIRAT KOHLI". Reading body language of the opponent players, Assessing the game every now and then. You got to be special for that. Nasser Hussain said, "in run chases in the history of the game, there is Virat Kohli, there is daylight and then there are rest"

The worst thing about this upcoming series is that every time Kohli plays a good shot we have to listen to the commentators tell us what an unbelievable player he is. Ffs, I already know that. It was unbearable during the World Cup. I actually turn down the commentary for the England/India game.
@tejasd27513 жыл бұрын
Yes also add Dhoni to that list specially when he is playing in IPL. On csk match day most of conversation is about MSD . I don't hate dhoni but sometimes its unbearable.
