Cette pièce de même que les autres de Fauré, Vierne, etc, du label Westminster que j'ai reçu en cadeau lors de mes 9 ans en 1971. Il fait partie des tout premiers disques de musiques d'orgue que j'ai entendu pour la première fois à cette époque, avec Jean Costa et Raymond Daveluy en plus de Virgil Fox. De beaux souvenir. Merci bien.

Nice sound with Church acoustical surround reverberation. Virgil fox had a beautiful mentor and organ teatcher: LOUIS VIERNE. Virgil Fox a eu un superbe enseignant d' orgue et mentor, en la personne de LOUIS VIERNE, organiste de Notre Dame de Paris ! La devise de Louis Vierne: JE N 'AIS QU' UN BUT: EMOUVOIR !

Virgil Fox never studied under Louis Vierne. He was however a pupil of Marcel Dupre when he studied in France from 1930 to 1936.
