@@honestdave Ted briefly spoke about him after he passed but they had an odd releationship and Virgil said a bunch of negative things about him in recent years. Virgil also was known to book appearances and promise DiBiase would attend when he had zero knowledge about the signing and was never scheduled. Virgil did it to get more people to see him and would tell them Ted had to cancel last minute. RIP Virgil.

My favourite moments about Virgil was when he turned against Ted DiBiase at Royal Rumble 1991 , helped Roddy Piper to his feet at Wrestlemania 7 and won the million dollar belt at Summerslam 1991 and helped Texas Tornado beat DiBiase . Though times were tough for Virgil after that he proved tough times don't last but tough people do . Rest well Virgil and also Rest Well Ole Anderson who we also lost recently .

RIP Virgil. I flipping loved him as a kid. At one point, Virgil was not only the leader of the nWo but also a technical genius. Seriously. He came and wrestled at Southampton Guildhall here in the UK in 2001. Not only was he the only person still coming out to the nWo music and in the t-shirt at that point, therefore the de-facto boss, but he also beat British grappling wizard Doug Williams via flatliner/armbreaker takedown into a Fujiwara. What a total legend!!!
