I agree however remember in crew training they need to remember: Operation of doors Location of emergancy equipment aboard Operation of emergancy equipment Self defence Delivering a baby Emergancy medicine And much more for example the galley The saftey demo is just a basic part it doesn't matter how they get it across as long as the passengers get the message its important but inside there's so much more important things

I just flew on this airline for the first time from LAX to Viriginia and it was great! The actual safety video was well-produced like a professional music video (not a surprise given it's music record connection) instead of the usual boring recitation of other airlines. I work in film/tv production and appreciated the effort they went to to make an entertaining AND informative video. The fact that their flight attendants can be self-expressed to the point of dancing to the safety video just accentuates the awesomeness of Virgin America.

I miss Virgin America. They were the best airlines ever. The best flight attendants, the most comfortable planes, and their flights were on time. Over the years, only one of my flights with them was late, and that was due to weather. Virgin brought a cart to the gate, with complimentary beverages, and snack bars. Always great service! And, I have flown with this attendant, Mikey. Fun, and a really nice guy. Alaska was the best airlines to buy them, but it's still not the same. There will never be another airlines like Virgin America. I flew them an average of 15 round trips a year until they sold.

Mikey was at the departure gate for the send-off for VX1948 last night (April 24, 2018), which was Virgin America's final flight (in some ways) before being integrated into Alaska Airlines the next day. There was a huge crowd of people so it was difficult for me to see (and I was stuck in line for something else), but as far as I can tell, he was also leading a dance brigade of VX team members doing the safety dance during the festivities. Unfortunately, he wasn't working on the flight itself, but he did participate in a demonstration video for an in-seat safety dance for VX1948 passengers to do onboard. The passengers booked in First Class would've been in for a treat if he was working the flight as the First Class IFT.

Aj Goritos Alaska is nice too but, the cabin is bland with boring white cabin lighting and no PTVs. I flew Alaska with their old seats and they are comfortable but, not as comfortable as JetBlue or Virgin. PTVs makes Airlines more millennial friendly. PTVs can last as long as the aircraft itself and it is nothing more than a Linux based low powered computer that streams data from a dedicated streaming server in the airplane. Delta is going to keep adding IFE in their new and existing jets.
