Virgin America was great. But hey, you never know. The founder of JetBlue, David Neelman, left the U.S Aviation industry. Now he's back with a new airline. You never know what Sir Richard Branson might have up his sleeve.

I somehow got to fly on one of JetBlue’s newest aircraft recently, and it heavily reminded me of Virgin America… especially the interior… I’m starting to wonder if I flew on an Ex-VX aircraft (that maybe Alaska sold to JetBlue) 🧐

Wasn’t on this flight unfortunately, but pretty neat and interesting! I have a Virgin America t shirt as well but sadly I didn’t get one until December 2017 and it was after my last ever time flying them back in November 2017. I did wear my Virgin America t shirt this day as of representing their last actual day of operations and I happened to be at LAX this night picking up my mom from an American Airlines flight! Pretty cool they did a sing along to the safety dance video and pretty crazy they did it a second time after landing which tells me they were really going to miss it because unfortunately it’s gone from flights forever, however this wasn’t the last time they played this, the safety dance video wasn’t discontinued from flights right away. The safety dance video retired from their flights completely on August 1st 2018, which coincidentally that same day was when Southwest Airlines quit serving peanuts on their flights due to allergy concerns!

By the way Alaska Airlines retired all the aircraft, here is the time line with Final Route and flight number and registration March 2020: Airbus A319: N/A January 9th 2023: Airbus A320: N849VA, AS1196, SEA-LAX September 30th 2023: Airbus A321NEO: N921VA, AS1126, SEA-LAX Conclusion: I think Alaska Airlines should be still be booed because they retired and now they’re Boeing all over again

Virgin was the best airline i flew with them many times planned on being a flight attendant for them uncle was a pilot with them till the end now he’s a captain at United Airlines on the 787 fleet

Virgin America was the best and the Alaska Airlines safety demo is so boring and the service is so horrible on their planes. They made my family get stuck at the gate for 2 hours without the plane taxiing and we were not warned of this. Alaska sucks, Virgin America would never do this to us. #alaskaairlinessuck
