On board my second Virgin Atlantic "Little Red" flight, this time across the Scottish border to Edinburgh. Very busy flight, almost full, therefore lots of noise I'm afraid. Not helping matters was that I sat surrounded by a hen party who were chatting the entire time. Lots of people going to Edinburgh for the bank holiday weekend. But despite the passengers on the aircraft, the flight itself was brilliant, and very fast! Very fast taxi and airborne at 9:29, which for a scheduled departure time of 9:20, for Heathrow standards that's very! Landed 20mins early after being airborne just 50mins.

Awesome on-board footage Matt! Sounds busy, can't always get a quiet flight unfortunately, there's usually a crying baby or a noisy group but it's all part of the experience I guess. Loved the sound on takeoff and as you was climbing. Stunning Scottish landscape too. Looked like a great flight on the whole, thanks for sharing :D

Enjoyed watching this video. I have a phobia of flying and want to visit my friend in London soon. Trying to gather the courage to get on a plane. it's more the claustrophic aspect I cant deal with rather than the mechanics of the plane.

Great video. Maybe try using a polarizer filter if it's possible? to cut the reflections & glare in the window seen inside the aircraft when filming out the window...just a suggestion, rachaelmatt!
