The first time we flew premium with Virgin to Barbados we had booked economy. As we were checking in we noticed that upgrades to premium were up for grabs for £176 each so the wife paid for two seats. It was a great experience and that's how we've flown with Virgin ever since. The last time we went to Barbados we flew with Thomas Cook on one of their new A330 planes in economy with 2-4-2 configuration. We had the two seats right at the back and had no problems at all , very comfortable with plenty of room plus the flight was £650 cheaper than Virgin economy.

Premium seats are much nicer than bubble seats. Being in the bubble is much nicer than standard economy though. Same seats but quieter

The extra legroom sounds particularly good to me, since I am unusually tall (6’7”). That’s one of my least favorite things about flying - if I don’t have an empty seat next to me or I’m not on the aisle, I can be pretty miserable.

Lovedyour vlog , flew premium in september 2017 . Why din't you use the Disney Springs check-in ? Hand your bags in and you don't see them till you get to your destination.

@@TheLodgeGuys They are definitly fixed. If the people in fornt recline their seats and you're sat in the window seat you can't exit your seat as the centre console is about 3'" from the reclined seat.

No now we have done premium economy we can't go back to economy. We couldn't afford Orlando so we either go with BA to Fort Lauderdale or this year we are flying into Miami and staying for 16 nights with the first night in West Palm beach and the last night on Miami South Beach. I will maybe look at Virgins economy delight seats when we fly next to compare them to the premium economy seats.

I had a unpleasant trip on a virgin A340 flight from Hong Kong and not by choice . Economy class or as I named it after arriving at Heathrow Clacton Deck chair class . Bloody awful. Seeing virgin premium economy looked quiet good . However I would in my view still fly BA when it came to long range flights and BA premier economy .
