Thanks for another great video/flight review! VS seems like a really fun airline to fly and work with. Everyone always complement the cabin crew and their bubbly personality. Interestingly, the A350 J product looks really worn out when compared to the A330 Neo.
@liftoffandtravel16 күн бұрын
So long as its not swapped out then it's all good but either way I think the cabin crew are just fun so that could make up for it. It's interesting you pointing out the wear and tear. Quite a few airlines seem to be having this issue particularly with leather surfaces. Thanks for supporting us 😊

that is a nice looking seat, and the amenity kit is generous for business class; plus pajamas. ( as you shared, many airlines do not offer pajamas in business class ) I just returned from Sydney- flew there on January 4, with American Airlines in Flagship First /Nashville-DFW-LAX-SYD, and returned via HKG ( 23-hour layover ) and CX is a great example of no pajamas in business class. I was blessed with a great crew on American from LAX-SYD, and of course CX' crew on SYD-HKG-LAX were extraordinary. The food was great, service outstanding, and they have new bedding, which I wanted to take the huge, thick blanket home with me!! I agree that JFK-LHR is so quick, you do not have time for decent sleep. safe travels and happy new year.

@@jimbohr totally agree, think I got in about 3 hours of sleep. You were lucky to get a nice view going in to Sydney. Truely magical even if we did have to stare across the aisle and through someone's windows 😂 Who do you prefer American or Cathay? Also welcome to 2025 I bet you have some exciting travel plans ahead.

@@liftoffandtravel american has some great options internationally, and the 787-9's are comfy. cathay pacific has a whole other level of service, though. I have zero trips planned ahead; need to get organized- be well

Enjoyable video, as usual. So you live in or near Birmingham. Do you ever stay in London in your travels? If so, where do you choose to stay?
@liftoffandtravel16 күн бұрын
@@mikiewifnoe360 yes Birmingham Airport is our local. Very convenient now those challenging queues in the morning have stopped. It depends really what budget you are on. Shoreditch is trendy and has some wonderful restaurants and hotels. The closest we've stayed to Central is St Paul's. Just can't warrant or bring ourselves to pay anymore because we just spend too much time outside of the hotel.

Most passengers who fly business always keep their amenity kit and use it for long term for multiple purposes or offer them as a gift to their close ones. Thus paper amenity kits are just cost cutting, nothing environmental friendly with that.
@liftoffandtravel16 күн бұрын
@@theshieldhero7062 that's an interesting point. If someone for business flies at least 20 times a year would you they keep all 20? I often see them left on the seat or side table sometimes used sometimes not. So some of those are definately going to waste unless the airline refuses them. At least with paper it can easily be recycled unless leather or a synthetic version. They do make good gifts though.
@theshieldhero706216 күн бұрын
@@liftoffandtravel That person will definitely keep a good amount for himself/herself because it is so practical for different purposes and bring along everywhere. The contents of the amenity kit are always used like socks, eye masks, tooth paste and perfume. For avgeeks, it's even more valuable because you would want to keep a souvenir from the airlines you flew with and most frequent flyers look forward to business class largely because of the amenity kit. And lastly, it is a phenomenal and classy item you can gift to anyone and thus will be used long term while paper amenity kit might be recyclable but is used only once and does not match the price you pay for business class. I gave to 8 of my friends, all them use the kits as a skin care bag. It's one of the most useful gifts you could give to anyone
