The music is as beautiful as the scenery. I have driven "The Gorge" over 250 times in my 7 years of trucking. Now fully retired from law enforcement and from trucking, I miss these special days on the road where... Something new everyday. Thanks for uploading!

Just a random question you'll probably never see. Did one side of your face "age" more than the other because of the sun being on one side more? I saw a guy the other day and he reminded me of 2 face from Batman. Or whatever his name was.

@@dickfitswell3437 Funny you should find the post and reply... And yes over my 7 years of driving my left arm turned brown, and the left side of my face was darker than the right by a little bit. When I fully retired everything went back to normal. I've been watching to make sure I don't develop melanoma again, which happened in my 4th year of driving. It was painful, and I prayed because I did not want it to kill me. The Lord just kept repeating the words "Green Goodness" over and over again. I started researching it immediately, and couldn't find a thing. It was so new, there was nothing on the internet about it. Then one day a few weeks later I was in Bakersfield CA and I heard a commercial on AM radio for "Bolthouse Farms Green Goodness" and that it was now available at Walmart, Walgreens, Osco Sav-on, Ralph's and Kroger. My heart jumped! I went to the nearest Walmart that I could find, and it was so new the manager didn't know if they had it or where it was. After a few moments of searching on his computer, we found it, in the refrigerated produce department. The melanoma had moved into my bones and I was going to die. I bought 8 bottles of Green Goodness, and drank 4 per day and kept finding, buying and drinking 3 to 4 bottles per day for about 3 months. After 3 months the cancer was GONE. I kept drinking the stuff for another month and a half, and the cancer has never returned to this day. Bolthouse Farms now has other drinks like Carrot juice, Blue Goodness, berry Goodness, pineapple juice, products that are as equally good for your health as Green Goodness. Even if you think your health is perfect, or you think it is, it's worth it to drink Green Goodness and their other drinks for health maintenance and detoxifying purposes. Very beneficial. That was free info for you. Since you mentioned sunlight and lopsided tans... 👍😁💥🌞

Just drove through the gorge yesterday. I couldn't believe the incredible beauty. We literally stumbled upon the gorge. As soon as we came out, I wanted to make a u turn and go back and drive through it again. Thanks for posting this. It's wonderful that you did this.

I drove through this gorge once in the late 1970s on a road trip around the continental USA. Thanks for refreshing my memory of this spectacular stretch of scenic highway, since advancing age and East Coast residency pretty much precludes my ever returning there to drive it again. Nice song accompaniment, too.

We drive from Broughton, KS to Las Vegas every year. My folks my wife and I take HI-way 24 west to Colby KS and then take I-70. My wife's favorite part of the trip is the Virgin River Gorge. It starts out so gradual and then slowly begins to go deeper and deeper until it's like you are in church cathedrals. Way too cool! And after some approx. 20 minutes you come around a curve and almost immediately exit the gorge onto the desert floor. Really cool!!

Was there a few years ago on holiday for Christmas.. Personally i found it better than the Grand Canyon. Stunning place. Took the kids to a dinosaur museum just in Utah and found out it was a fellow Brit that had it built because they didnt want to disturb the fossils and remains... Made me smile.

Its especially a great drive on a clear moonless night. Look up. Well pull over first...off the main Hwy. Let your eyeballs adjust to the darkness for 10 mins and see that galaxy and endless void that will one day collapse and then everything starts over. Time is a flat circle.

When is someone going to put this stretch of road in a racing game? I would love to do this at 160+. In a real car you had better have great suspension going that fast on the section starting at 4:45 It tends to through you across the lane at high speeds. lol I live in St. George and have driven this more times than I care to estimate. I use to commute to Mesquite every day and it never gets to be a boring drive.

Awesome Idea, I also live close by the St. George area to, and I wish I had a dollar for every time I traveled this stretch of freeway.
