I’ve come to realize that the West blows my mind, but the East warms my soul. If that makes sense. I grew up in the East. I’m an Eastern woodland creature. I wish more you tubers would spend more time over here. Thanks, Brian. Great short film.

What a great saying and I know exactly what you mean. Hubs and I live in NJ (I'm originally from central rural PA) but are currently traveling through the western states and we have noted a similar sentiment. Many things out here are so spectacular and jaw-dropping that it's almost an assault on your senses. The forests and hills of the east are understated yet soothing and calming.

Great video again. I really like that you leave the nature noises in without music. Nice to have Kelly in this one too. I would just once love to see you taste your food, make a disgusted face and spit it out - it can't ALWAYS be good, can it? 😁 Now, of course, I'm hungry again.

Beautiful country back there wow you’re so lucky. Brian on my 62 birthday I made a B line to Yosemite National Park to get my America beautiful card, back then for seniors it was only $10 for lifetime and now it’s $80 for seniors for lifetime. At $80 if you use it is still a good deal per year and if you are a senior the pass is good for life. I remember I couldn’t wait to turn 62 just so I could get that pass for $10 it wasn’t long after I bought it that they raise the price to $80.... enjoy the beautiful back country and travel safe.👍🏻😊

Great to see you in my backyard! In my backpacking youth, we always tended toward the Blue Ridge side of the AT in Virginia because we could have campfires, and that was really important to us back then. Today I could probably deal better with the restrictions. Priorities change. BTW I've been told our Virginia "hills" were taller, in their youth, than your West Coast "mountains" ever were. Thousands of years of erosion have softened them a bit, but I still love them. Thanks for sharing.
